Darrell Holderman, a 78-year-old male and Marine veteran from Warren County, tragically lost his life on June 1, 2022, in Dayton, Ohio. Holderman was working as a security guard at Miami Valley Hospital when he was shot and killed by a 30-year-old inmate named Brian Booth. Booth was receiving treatment for a detox-related illness at the hospital when the incident occurred.
