His disappearance began on August 2, 2017, when he was last seen getting out of a vehicle on Southport Road in Mount Pleasant, seemingly intending to continue his journey on foot in a westerly direction. At the time he went missing, he was described as being a white male, standing 68 inches tall, weighing around 200 pounds, with gray or partially gray hair. The days immediately following his disappearance were filled with uncertainty for his family and friends. Kenneth was a son, a father to his son Joshua, a brother, and an uncle, and he was known for his love of riding motorcycles. He had been preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Norman. As the search for answers began, his case was entered into the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs), a national resource center for missing persons cases. Details of his last known moments were sparse, leaving loved ones to wonder what could have happened to him after he stepped out of that car and walked away.
