Martinez Bowers

In the summer of 2013, a meeting in Detroit turned fatal for Martinez Bowers, a 59-year-old African-American man. On June 3rd, Bowers had arranged to meet with two individuals who had expressed interest in purchasing a firearm from him. The encounter, however, took a dark turn as the intended business transaction devolved into a robbery.
