Louis McClymonds Davies Jr., a 29-year-old Caucasian male, was a Federal Prohibition Agent with the United States Department of the Treasury - Internal Revenue Service - Bureau of Prohibition. On January 14, 1930, Agent Davies was shot and killed while raiding an illicit distillery on a farm in Pamlico County, North Carolina. During the raid, Davies and another agent, A. D.
