Donald Ray Tucker, a 22-year-old male police officer with the Clinton Police Department in North Carolina, was shot and killed on November 14, 1991. Officer Tucker was working undercover on a drug operation with a multi-agency task force in Carteret County when he was murdered. During his final drug purchase for the task force, two suspects robbed and shot him. Both suspects were apprehended shortly after the incident.
