On April 16, 2024, an altercation on Boykin Road near Shaun Lane in Clinton, North Carolina, escalated into a tragic shooting incident. Four individuals sustained gunshot wounds and were transported by private vehicles to Sampson Regional Medical Center. Among them was 18-year-old Tabias Rayshawn Darden of Faison, who succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
