Brent Antwain McCollum Jr., a 30-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on May 29, 2022, in Clinton, North Carolina. The incident occurred on Loop Road, just outside the city limits of Clinton. Brent was found dead inside a vehicle, having suffered a fatal gunshot wound. Another individual, Roman Dashon King, a 24-year-old resident of Clinton, was also shot but sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
