David Jerome Moody, a 25-year-old male of African American ethnicity, was tragically killed on August 22, 1998, in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. Moody was shot on the corner of Goldleaf Street and Carolina Avenue and later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. The Rocky Mount Police Department was dispatched to the scene but has yet to solve the case.
