James Tony Cooper, a 46-year-old male of unspecified ethnicity, tragically lost his life on April 26, 2011, in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. He was fatally wounded during what is believed to have been an attempted robbery at his residence on Brandon Lane. Cooper was found inside his house and was later pronounced dead at Nash General Hospital.
