On July 23, 2013, Thomas Davis, a 35-year-old man from Detroit, was fatally shot in an incident involving three suspects. The shooting occurred on Chandler Park Drive, where Davis, along with two other victims, was targeted by gunmen firing from a vehicle. Police found Davis with multiple gunshot wounds, and he succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter at a local hospital. The other victims, aged 18 and 26, survived the shooting and were taken to the hospital for treatment.
