Janet Elaine Jessup Harris, a 58-year-old woman from Winston-Salem, NC, passed away on June 24, 2009, at her home. She was a homemaker and an active member of the Westside Baptist Church in Winston-Salem. Janet was well-loved in her community and remembered fondly by friends and family for her kindness and generosity.

Unfortunately, Janet's death was not due to natural causes. A man named James Brewton, 56, of Winston-Salem, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder in connection ...
