Javier Manuel Martinez, a 21-year-old male, tragically lost his life on November 1, 2009, in Mount Airy, North Carolina. He was one of four victims in a shooting incident that took place at the Woods TV store on Worth Street in downtown Mount Airy. The other victims included his brother, Juan Manuel Martinez, 26, his cousin, Alfonso Martinez-Jimenez, and an acquaintance, Marcos Alvedo Aguilar, 21.
