Tevon Parsons, a 23-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on January 29, 2021, in Mount Airy, North Carolina. The incident occurred on Cedar Ridge Road, where Parsons was found shot to death in the middle of the road. The Surry County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene and initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death. The investigation revealed that the shooting resulted from a disagreement between Parsons and another individual.
