Kendra Renee Burnette, a 25-year-old woman from Forsyth County, North Carolina, was found dead on July 26, 2011. Her body was discovered along Styers Ferry Road by a passerby. Kendra, who was of African American descent, had taken out a restraining order against her ex-boyfriend, Eric Darnell Boone, on April 5, 2011, forbidding him from having any contact with her.
