Jeffery Lamar Dawes, a 21-year-old male from Durham, North Carolina, was tragically shot and killed on March 22, 2014. The incident occurred inside an apartment located at 561 Liberty Street. Dawes was found with a gunshot wound and was immediately rushed to Duke University Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
