Steven Heald, a 59-year-old male, tragically lost his life on April 11, 2014, in Porters Neck, North Carolina. Heald was found dead inside a home on Meadowlark Lane in the Plantation Village community. The incident was later determined to be a murder-suicide.

The investigation revealed that Steven Heald's uncle, 79-year-old Darrell Simpson, fatally shot Heald and his wife, 79-year-old Linda Simpson, before taking his own life. Deputies responded to the home after Heald's co-worker report ...
