John Gyurtsak, a 74-year-old resident of Big Pine Key, Florida, was last seen on November 4, 2019. He departed from Big Pine Key on his 34-foot pleasure craft, named *Thermocline*, sometime before 2 p.m. that day. Gyurtsak was expected to meet a friend the following morning, but when he failed to show up, the authorities were notified. His boat was later found anchored with the engine running about one mile south of Big Pine Key, raising concerns about his whereabouts.
