Luis Alexander Rodriguez, a 40-year-old Hispanic male, tragically lost his life on June 11, 2014, in Raleigh, North Carolina. The incident occurred outside the Mambo 69 Sports Bar, located at 2221 New Hope Church Road. Rodriguez's death led to the arrest of two suspects, Ydhiam Buonkrong, 25, and Teleah Janae Richmond, 21. Both individuals were charged with murder in connection with the shooting. Buonkrong also faced an additional charge of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. The police did not provide a motive for the shooting, and the investigation remained ongoing at the time.
Eyewitness accounts revealed that the shooting occurred after a brief interaction between Rodriguez and the suspects.
