Damien Thomas, a 21-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed in Wadesboro, North Carolina, on July 28, 2014. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning when two men barged into the home where Thomas and his girlfriend were sitting on the couch. One of the intruders shot Thomas, who died at the scene. The assailants left without taking anything, and Thomas's girlfriend was unharmed.
