Reverend William "Bill" Scott, a 68-year-old Caucasian male, tragically died on August 20, 2014, in Lumberton, North Carolina. According to the Robeson County Sheriff's Office, Rev. Scott shot and killed his 64-year-old wife, Charlotte Scott, before turning the gun on himself. The couple was found on the deck of their home, and the incident was ruled a murder-suicide.
