Jacques Marquette McIntyre, a 29-year-old male, tragically lost his life on August 26, 2014, in Shelby, NC. He was shot during an altercation at a residence in Shelby. The incident occurred when Richas Bernard Clark, a 23-year-old convicted felon, allegedly fired at Jacques and another individual, Demetria Sabrina Adams, 40, during an argument. According to Shelby Police Chief Jeff Ledford, the shooting was the result of a dispute between two men, and Clark chose to use a firearm.
