Rahsaan Malik Williams, a 21-year-old male from Kinston, NC, tragically lost his life on September 12, 2014. Rahsaan was shot in the chest on the 1700 block of George Avenue around 7:12 a.m. He was immediately taken to Lenoir Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The incident occurred near the Children's Village Academy, which went on lockdown as a precaution.
