James Johnson, a 72-year-old man from Red Springs, North Carolina, tragically lost his life on December 11, 2014. He was fatally shot at Roscoe's Convenience Store on North Main Street in Red Springs. The incident occurred when two men entered the store and demanded money before firing shots. James Johnson was killed, and the store clerk, Rodney Maynard, was injured.
