Johnathan Lee Locklear, a 31-year-old man of Native American ethnicity from Red Springs, North Carolina, tragically died on July 4, 2018. Locklear was fatally shot in the left leg during an altercation with his uncle, Ferman Locklear Jr., at a family gathering. The incident occurred after an argument escalated, leading to the shooting. Locklear was taken to McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence, South Carolina, but succumbed to his injuries later that day.
