Shawn Lovell Parker, a 49-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on June 20, 2015, in West Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred early in the morning on Windy Valley Drive. Police responded to the call around 3:35 AM and found Parker suffering from a gunshot wound. MEDIC pronounced him dead at the scene. The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department launched an investigation into the murder, which remains ongoing.
