Jack Davis Jr., a 71-year-old African American man, was tragically murdered on July 19, 2015, in Kinston, North Carolina. Jack was a well-respected member of the community, known for his faith and dedication to helping others. He had a long career as a high school masonry teacher and later served as a bailiff.
