Shawn Christopher Rorie, a 26-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on October 24, 2015, in Greensboro, North Carolina. The incident occurred during a large party near North Carolina A&T State University. The party, which was not officially affiliated with the university, drew a crowd of approximately 300 to 400 people.
