On October 2, 2024, at approximately 7:07 p.m., Greensboro Police Department officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 100 block of Meadowville Lane in Greensboro, North Carolina. Upon arrival, they discovered three men in a parking lot, each suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Among them was 29-year-old Markese Taliafero, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The other two individuals were transported to a nearby hospital with critical injuries.
