Mohamed Thaber Shoufar, a 58-year-old man, was tragically killed in a shooting incident on December 19, 2015, in Durham, North Carolina. The incident occurred at the Buy Quick convenience store located on South Briggs Avenue, where Shoufar was employed. According to reports, a male suspect entered the store around 7 p.m. and fired shots at Shoufar, who was behind the counter at the time. Shoufar was immediately taken to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
