Marquese Antonio Nicholson, a 25-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on January 18, 2016, in Lumberton, North Carolina. Marquese was found deceased in the driver's seat of his vehicle, which had been shot multiple times. The incident occurred around 12:24 a.m. on Gavintown Road. The Lumberton Police Department responded to a call about a suspicious vehicle and discovered Marquese's body inside the car.
