William McKinley Spencer III, a 25-year-old male of African American ethnicity from Greensboro, NC, tragically died on February 20, 2016. His death was the result of a shooting incident at Georgetown Manor Apartments. Spencer was found in a wooded area near the apartment complex, having been shot to death.

The suspect in the case, Lemuel Lee Harris Jr., also 25 years old and from Greensboro, was charged with first-degree murder. Harris was arrested shortly after the incident and has been ...
