On May 12, 2024, at approximately 1:26 p.m., officers from the Jacksonville Police Department responded to reports of a shooting at Windsor Place Apartments, located at 4679 Western Boulevard in Jacksonville, North Carolina. Upon arrival, they discovered 19-year-old Terrance Tyquawn Grant of Maysville, who had sustained a fatal gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
