In the early morning hours of December 3, 2025, the life of 27-year-old Tayvione Adams was tragically cut short in Greensboro, North Carolina. A Black/African American male, Adams was discovered by police responding to reports of gunshots in the 1000 block of West Barton Street at approximately 3:43 a.m.
Upon their arrival, officers found a scene involving two silver cars that appeared to have been in a crash within the parking lot of an apartment complex.
Inside one of the vehicles, they found Tayvione Adams, who had sustained at least one gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Greensboro Police Department is actively investigating the shooting as a homicide. As of now, authorities have not publicly identified any suspects in connection with the death of Tayvione Adams. No arrests have been announced, and the investigation remains ongoing. Law enforcement has appealed to the public for any information that might lead to the apprehension of those responsible for this violent act.
