Shawn Harbin, a 26-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on March 22, 2016, in Charlotte, North Carolina. Shawn was born on October 17, 1989, and spent his short adult life in Charlotte after being raised in Rome, Georgia. He graduated from Hawthorne High School and was known for his passion for cars and mechanic work. On the night of his death, Shawn was shot and killed in a violent incident on Westridge Drive.
