Diana Marie Edgerton, a 23-year-old woman from Louisburg, NC, tragically lost her life on March 26, 2016. She was one of three victims in a horrific triple homicide that took place in the 100 block of Harris Road. Diana was visiting Keisha Livingston, 36, and Shamare Malik Harris, 18, at Livingston's home when the incident occurred. Diana was taken to WakeMed, but unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries upon arrival.
The suspect in this case, Darius Revel Robinson, was identified
and charged with three counts of first-degree murder. Authorities believe that Robinson, who had a criminal record and was known to be a gang member, may have been attempting to rob Livingston of her income tax return. Robinson was arrested six days after the shooting in Virginia and faced the possibility of the death penalty or life in prison.
In addition to Robinson, Marissa Shontay Taylor, a 27-year-old woman from Greenville, NC, was charged as an accessory after the fact of the homicides. Taylor was arrested and held in the Franklin County jail under a $100,000 bond.
