In the early hours of November 1, 2024, a Halloween party in Northglenn, a suburb of Denver, turned into a scene of tragedy. Adan Pacheco, a 20-year-old male, was shot and killed, his life cut short just as it was beginning. Pacheco and his girlfriend, 20-year-old Lorraine Quintana, had attended the party at a house near Belford Drive and Bruce Lane after taking their one-year-old daughter trick-or-treating.
