Jaquan Antonio Underhill, a 23-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on June 17, 2016, in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. On that fateful day, Jaquan was traveling in a vehicle with others along West Raleigh Boulevard when an unknown assailant opened fire on the vehicle near Kinchen Drive. The gunfire resulted in severe injuries to Jaquan, who was subsequently rushed to the hospital.
