Darrell Curry

On May 30, 2016, 48-year-old Darrell Curry, an African American male, was fatally shot in northeast Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred around 7:10 p.m. in the 10200 block of Berkeley Place. Following the shooting, a 911 call was made by an individual reporting that they had been shot and were en route to the hospital. Upon arrival at the medical facility, officers discovered two male victims suffering from gunshot wounds; Darrell Curry was later pronounced dead.
