Jeff Shelton, a 35-year-old white male, tragically lost his life on March 31, 2007, in Charlotte, North Carolina. Officer Shelton, along with his colleague Officer Sean Clark, responded to a disturbance call at an East Charlotte housing complex on Barrington Drive.
