Asa Jarrah Shannon, a 35-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on January 11, 2020, in Charlotte, North Carolina. Asa was found dead alongside his girlfriend, Siojvon Joseph, also 35, in a vehicle on Atando Avenue in west Charlotte. The couple was discovered after a call from a citizen reported a vehicle down an embankment. The vehicle required a tow truck to be pulled out of the embankment. Asa and Siojvon were both pronounced dead at the scene.
