Montez Lamar Wilson, a 17-year-old African American male from Goldsboro, North Carolina, was found shot to death on the side of the road on July 1, 2016. The Goldsboro Police Department responded to a shots fired call in the 400 block of East Holly Street around 2:20 a.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered Wilson lying on the side of the road, suffering from a gunshot wound. EMS crews pronounced him dead at the scene. The investigation into his death is ongoing, and authorities have not released ...
