Garrett Howard Bridges, a 25-year-old man from Clayton, North Carolina, was tragically killed in a home invasion on July 2, 2016. The incident occurred around 1 a.m. when two masked suspects broke into his residence on Herndon Court. Garrett, who was asleep in the living room at the time, was shot and killed by a single gunshot wound to the chest. The suspects entered through a back door, and although children were present in the home, they were unharmed.
