Tyrell McDonald, a 22-year-old African American male from Maxton, NC, tragically lost his life on August 21, 2016. McDonald was attending a party at Sarah’s Place on South Patterson Street when a fight broke out and shots were fired. Deputies found him lying in the parking lot with a gunshot wound. Despite efforts to administer CPR, McDonald was pronounced dead at Scotland Memorial Hospital.
