Joshua Ryan Hunt, a 28-year-old man from Red Springs, North Carolina, was found dead on November 29, 2022, in a ditch between two homes in Maxton, NC. The Robeson County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene at around 11:25 p.m. and pronounced Hunt dead at the scene. The investigation into his death led to the arrest of three individuals: Nakia Gage Locklear, 18; Shawn Tobin Locklear Jr., 19; and a 16-year-old juvenile.
