Nakoma Deshane Jacobs, a 26-year-old male from Red Springs, NC, was tragically shot and killed on August 28, 2016. The incident occurred early in the morning at a residence on Bryant Road. Deputies from the Robeson County Sheriff's Office responded to a call at approximately 5:20 a.m. and found Jacobs lying on the ground near the back door of the home with a gunshot wound to his chest. Despite being transported to Southeastern Regional Medical Center, Jacobs succumbed to his injuries.
