Deon Davis, a 33-year-old African American male, was found shot to death inside a car in west Charlotte on November 12, 2016. The incident occurred near a West Boulevard apartment complex, and police responded to a 911 call around 2 a.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered Deon Davis with fatal gunshot wounds inside the vehicle. A woman, who had also been inside the car, approached the officers and reported that she had been shot in the hand. This tragic event marked the second murder in the south ...
