Kamorrie Prather, an 18-year-old male, was fatally shot on May 3, 2025, in Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred on Frew Road in the North Tryon Division. Officers from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department initially responded to a call regarding an accident with injuries. Upon arrival, they discovered Prather suffering from a gunshot wound. Emergency medical personnel transported him to Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased.
