Born on December 11, 1990, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Shanice was the daughter of Marshall C. Williams and Angela Glass. She was employed with Hickory Springs and was a loving mother to her three children: two daughters, Angel Brown and Saniya Lineberger, and one son, Nysir Lineberger.
On the fateful day of her death, authorities
responded to a report of an assault and shooting at the Hilltop Apartments on 19th Street NW in Long View. Upon arrival, they discovered the bodies of Shanice Williams and her boyfriend, Marquis Lineberger, inside one of the units. The investigation revealed that the incident was a murder-suicide, with Marquis Lineberger being the perpetrator. A handgun was recovered from the apartment, and it was determined that Marquis had shot Shanice before taking his own life.
Friends and neighbors were devastated by the news, with many expressing their shock and sorrow. Chelsea Gore, a friend who lived next door to Shanice, shared her grief, stating that it was difficult to come home knowing that Shanice would not be returning.
