Richelle Scott Lail, a 22-year-old woman from Hickory, NC, tragically lost her life on March 2, 2016, in a shooting incident outside a McDonald's restaurant. The incident occurred around 6 p.m. in the parking lot of the McDonald's located along Highway 321. Richelle was found lying on the ground near the playground area, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
