Rontaveon Montrice Porter, a 17-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on March 20, 2017, in Greensboro, North Carolina. Porter was a senior at Dudley High School and was fatally shot in an incident that occurred in the 2000 block of Niagara Street. The shooting took place around 8:40 p.m., and when officers arrived at the scene, they found Porter and another victim suffering from gunshot wounds.
